The Angel of Peace (Friedensengel) is a monument in Munich at the Prinzregentenstraße. At 38 metres high column is a bronze angel, which is the replication of Nike of Paionios. It should remain the people on Versailles in 1870. Construction of the monument and the nearby small memorial started in 1896 and was finished in 1899. It was designed by Heinrich Duell, Georg Pezold and Max Heilmaier.
