Berlin, Spreebogencenter

Before the meander of the Spree near the Reichstag was chosen as the construction site for the new Federal Chancellery, the term "Spreebogen" (meander of the Spree) was normally used to refer to the next meander downstream, where a heterogeneous office, hotel and law court complex was built on the north bank between 1988 and 1995. No new name has yet become established for this location.
The new buildings on an old industrial complex centred around the former Bolle dairy were built in different forms in several construction phases.
