Jones, Sir Horace

Sir Horace Jones (1819–1887)

Jones was born in London in 1819. He was an English architect and surveyor of the 19th century. He studied ancient architecture in Italy and Greece. He worked as Architect and Surveyor for the Corporation of the City of London from 1864 to 1887. Jones was knighted in 1886 He died in 1887 and is buried in West Norwood Cemetery.
