William E. Pedersen (born 1938)

William Pedersen, born 1938, is an American architect, who got known with his partners A. Eugene Kohn and Sheldon Fox as founding partners of the American architectural office Kohn Pedersen Fox.
William Pedersen studied at the universities of Minnesota and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before founding KPF in 1976, he worked o for architect’s offices like Pietro Belluschi. Eduardo Catalino. I.M. Pei and Associates. John Carl Warnecke.
In the shared management structure of KPF, Pedersen is the firm's principle designer while Fox acted as the firm's project manager and Kohn, the firm's chief marketer.
