Most of my work over the past twenty years explored the genre of the 'Still Life'. More recent work focused on 'The Domestic Interior'. More specifically that of my community who migrated from Aden, including portraits of them. Another recent body of work took its starting point as a memory of a place, using the desert landscape as a metaphor for loss. It also incorporated archival material ( another area of interest.) Most of the work is in black and white, silver gelatine prints, ranging from very small scale to larger works. I also have produced four artists books.
