Pascal was a French mathematician, physicist, writer and Christian philosopher. He argued that the confrontation with scientific, philosophical and theological problems was not contradictory. According to the principle of the unity of all being, he was of the opinion that human could attain knowledge only through an interaction of mind and heart.
