Immanuel Kant

Kant was a German philosopher of the Enlightenment. His works founded the beginning of modern philosophy.

His work "Critique of Pure Reason" had an influence on epistemology and "Critique of Practical Reason" on ethics. He also dealt with religious, legal and historical philosophy as well as astronomy and geosciences.
