Ashley and Newman
Ashley & Newman was founded by the architects H. V. Ashley and F. Winton Newman. They were the competition-winners for monumental public buildings Birmingham Art Gallery and Freemasons' Hall. In 1874 they were involved in the works for the Birmingham Council House.
