Pierre François Léonard Fontaine (1762 - 1853)
Fontaine was born in Pontoise in 1762.
He was an French architect of the neoclassic. His teachers were Antoine-François Peyre Peyre le jeun and Professor J.-D. Le Roy. He was an elected member of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1782 and won the second prize of Rome in 1785. Fontaine died in Paris in 1853.
