Thomas Fisk Goff (1890–1984)
Thomas Fisk Goff , born 1890 in London, England, was an English painter who settled in Los Angeles in the 1920’s and founded Crecent Sign Company. In 1923 he was the designer of the famous Hollywood sign.
In the 1930s he was an employee of the Federal Art Project and for 25 years he was field director for the American Red Cross. Goff died in Atascadero, California 1984.
