Imre Steindl (1839 - 1902)
Steindl was born in 1839 in Pest. He was a Hungarian architect. Steindl graduated at the Technical University of Budapest and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He teached on the Budapest Technical University. He was elected honorary and corresponding member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. His architectural interest was initially historicism, then Renaissance and Gothic style.
