National Library, Brasília

The National Library of Brasília (Biblioteca Nacional de Brasília in Portuguese) belongs to the Complexo Cultural da República (Portuguese for Cultural Complex of the Republic) and occupies an area of 14,000 m2, consisting of reading and study rooms, auditorium and a collection of over 300,000 items. It is situated in the Eixo Monumental, next to the Cathedral of Brasília.
