Pavilhão Atlântico is an arena in Lisbon, which looks like an spaceship or an Mediterranean animal. It was built in 1998 for the Expo and holds 20,000 people. It serves as a multi-event venue, holds major concerts and other uses. It was designed by the Portuguese architect Regino Cruz and in association with a leading international consultant: Skidmore, Owings & Merril (SOM). It holds the world record for Attendance in Indoor Soccer when Sporting played AS Roma for the European Cup of Indoor Soccer.
