Palacio Cristal, Madrid
The Palacio Cristal is located in the Jardines del Buen Retiro, the main park of Madrid. Ricardo Velázquez Bosco the architect of the Palacio Cristal was inspired by the London Crystal Palace. Built along with its artificial pond in 1887 for the Philipinne Islands Exhibitions and it was first used to display flower species indigenous to the island. There are now art galleries in the Crystal Palace.
