Cardiff, Millenium Stadium in clouds
The Millennium Stadium is the national stadium of Wales and it is located in Cardiff. It is used for rugby union football home internationals. It was opened in 1999and designed by HOK + LOBB Partnership and WS Atkins with a capacity of 74,500. It was built in the Cardiff Arms Park for the rugby union world cup in 1999 on the place of two old and unused stadiums. The stadium can also be used for motor sports, concerts, exhibitions and other events. The structure of the stadium is based around four 90.3-metre masts and consists of concrete and steel.
