Fluctuating buildings - Kellner delights in the Offenbach Art Association
Offenbach. The Kunstverein in Offenbach opened the exhibition "Brasília - Betongewordene Utopie" with Thomas Kellner on June 5, 2020 as the first exhibition after the corona lockdown. He inspired the audience with his unique method of "visual analytical synthesis" through the use of contact sheets, in which he sets the architectural works of the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer in motion and brings them to life. “Just like Brasília, a work of art by Kellner is an overall concept that is implemented according to rational decisions and a previously developed scheme. “(Chiara M. Bohn in her opening speech). The exhibition for the 60th anniversary of the city of Brasília runs until June 25, 2020 at the Kunstverein in Offenbach.
