Openings at JDC Fine Art and Kunstverein Wesseling
Wesseling. Yesterday the Kunstverein Wesseling opened the exhibition Zeit aus den Fugen, for which 850 artists had applied with 2500 works. The Siegen photo artist Thomas Kellner was selected with his mosaic image of the Grand Canyon as one of only 25 artists with his work for this exhibition The theme for the 12th Art Prize was "Time out of joint" was announced in the categories of painting, photography, and sculpture / object. The exhibition runs in the Schwingeler Kulturspeicher in Wesseling until 26.9..2021 Already on 03.09.2021 in the jdc Fine Art Gallery in Oregon, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the group exhibition Time in two directions was opened. The exhibition celebrates the past, introduces new discoveries, and hints at new directions. In doing so, the group exhibition includes work by 17 artists, including previously represented artists*, previously exhibited artists*, and new artists*. The works of these contemporary artists deal with themes that are of fundamental importance. Among the exhibited artists is the Siegen-based photo artist Thomas Kellner. The group exhibition in Oregon USA is on view until November 27.
