Lost and Found
My images are self-portraits. I’m in all of them. Each illustrates a part of me that I would prefer to keep hidden. This body of work is the closest I’ve come to communicating my truth. I have always envied writers their ability to thread words together in a simple and eloquent way. Finding the right words to express my feelings has never been easy for me. Looking at and making images that depict who I am, is the closest I’ve come to exposing my true self. I’m not always aware of why I feel compelled to make an image but in good time the reason usually reveals itself.
