I visited quite a few private rooms from ordinary residence in China and a couple of public spaces. I use the objects, furniture within the spaces and rooms themselves a foreground and frame, and let the exterior can be seen through the room windows. The politic buildings, statues and other outdoor structures are the widow views. For many Chinese people, those exterior views are meaningful and significant, but they look ambiguous and being vanished in those rooms.

It is an collections of rooms with the views onto that particular history of modern China, is also an observation of how life and the Chinese society that people live in rapidly changing, and the twist on its won past.
