In the city of Siegen we have different relations to cities and groups abroad.

In the year 2006, on the 40th anniversary of the citypartnership between Siegen and Leeds, I started a discussion with departments of both cities how to vitalise the relationship.

My suggestion was: First to start exchanges of information about the different contacts in the field of arts on each others websites. People in the other city and with another language should find proper information and contacts about art in the twincity.

As to start this process my own website contains the relevant information about contacts in Siegen and all other cities and villages of Siegen-Wittgenstein and their city partnerships

New pages about other groups and contacts that we have from Siegen abroad, will be added.

In 2007 the local artists asssociation ASK Arbeitsgemeinschaft Siegerländer Kuenstler, started to take over this concept. www.ask-siegen.de
