In 1998, three young ambitious artists from the university moved into our first studio in the Friedrichstrasse. at this time, I was already thinking of how to promote our concept Siegen. Of the different exhibition spaces and organizers, often at the same location, I knew that each space and organizer had its own audience and visitors.

The town of Siegen is still too small to have something like a museum, gallery and exhibition guide. For 1999, we knew that the county government had planned a solo exhibition with paintings by Paul McCartney. It was my aim, to show people that we not only show other artists work but have very interesting places, excellent artists and good art shows in various locations. So I developed  a concept and designed a posterprogramme. I persuaded the Siegen Arts Association to publish a poster. Curated and juried it was a calendar of the best in art that Siegen had toffer during the summer. The poster's first edition had a print run of 10.000.

Up to today, this poster programme has initiated a lot of young & fresh art projects all over the city.
