Adam Clark (1811-1866)
Adam Clark constructed the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest on behalf of William Clark Thierney . During construction Austrian and Hungarian troops were fighting in the revolution. the Austrians tried several times to destroy the bridge, but Adam Clark was able to prevent the bridge of damages in filling the chain chambers with water and even destroying other devices.
He also constructed the tunnel under the Castle Hill in Budapest, extension of the Chain Bridge.
