Siegen's half-timbered houses in New York

Thomas Kellner among the top five artists for Klompching

New York. The fine art photographer Thomas Kellner from Siegen is participating in the New York competition Fresh2021, the Klompching Gallery with high results. He is one of five artists who are exhibiting their work in New York. These five were selected from the last 20 Fresh finalists. Each exhibiting artist is represented by a selection of photographs taken from a single work submitted in the open call for entries. Alongside Thomas Kellner's Siegen Half-Timbered Houses will be artworks by Karen Navarro, Holly Roberts, Aline Smithson and Ingrid Weyland. Whether Thomas Kellner will win the Peoples Choice Award, which is decided by a vote on Instagram, remains to be seen, but so far the Siegen-based fine art photographer is leading by a wide margin. The results of the vote will be evaluated on 30 August. The exhibition in New York can be visited from 15 September to 30 October 2021.

Statement Klompching Gallery

Thomas Kellners photographs on the timbered framed houses of Siegen have been selected by Darren Ching and Debra Klomp Ching, owners of the Klompching Gallery New York, for their fresh annual Photography exhibition. The photographs were curated into the show for their stunning visual quality, innovative transformation of the real world into the the photographic realm and also the carefully constructed knot to the historical trait that is the work of the Beckers.
